We kicked off the 2007-2008 school year with a packed meeting in Delphine Intercultural Center. After meeting the officers and our moderators there was a slideshow of some of last year's events. For the returning students it brought back memories, for the new students it gave them an idea of what to look forward to. Our discussion was about "What does APASA mean to you?" For some it was community, others support, and for others it was something to do.
Following the meeting we all headed to Justin/Mitty Commons for a barbecue with beef skewers, chicken, chow mein, and fried rice. Everyone had a chance to get to know each other and just relax.
The next meeting is Tuesday, September 18th at 6pm in Delphine Intercultural Center. Don't forget it!

Great idea with the video presentation and discussion on what it means to be APASA. Though we as Alums lead busy lives, I hope many will lend their support and mentorship to Rommel and his administration. They are exceptionally motivated and mission driven. Hope to see everyone again in the near future!
Always in spirit,
Grace
