Bonfire Recap
On a Wednesday evening over 20 APASA members set out for Ocean Beach in San Francisco. It was a bit chilly and windy but soon enough a blazing fire was roaring upon the beach keeping everyone warm. We roasted marshmallows and made s'mores while chatting and listening to some of our more musically-inclined members strum a guitar. Several members made a little expedition to the very edge of the water. We played two truths and a lie so that everyone could learn something about each other. The playful lies ran the gamut from people's age, to food preferences, to relationship status. A fun time was had by all, and hopefully everyone was able to get enough rest after getting back to school rather late that night. It took a starter log, loose tinder, cardboard, several logs, a good bit of lighter fluid and some determined APASA members to get the fire started but they got the job done.
Members warmed themselves around the blazing fire while roasting marshmallows.
Mmmmm...marshmallows...yum...
Members Adrian, Mami, Claudine, Batsy, and Sarah enjoy their s'mores creations.
Tim and Danilo smile for the camera out in the darkness of Ocean Beach.
